Helen’s Hope was in search of a band to perform at our annual benefit. Philly Rock&Soul came highly recommended so a few members went to see them perform and within minutes of hearing their first set, we knew they were our band. Our benefit, which was held in March, was a great success thanks to the awesome sounds of Philly Rock & Soul! These talented musicians executed the perfect selection of songs that had the crowd dancing and singing throughout the evening. The band even performed an encore as the crowd wasn’t quite ready to call it a night! The sound, equipment & lighting guys did a great job showcasing the band on stage. I hosted a fundraiser last month to raise money for The ALS Association Greater Philadelphia Chapter, and Philly Rock&Soul was the highlight of our evening! I couldn’t be happier with my decision to choose them as the entertainment. A challenge I’ve faced when hosting fundraisers in the past is keeping people engaged. This fundraiser, I had the opposite challenge - I had a hard time getting people to leave! The band played a wide range of musical hits that kept people of all ages on the dance floor. Several years ago, we went to a wedding that featured Philly Rock&Soul and had an absolute blast. When it came time to plan our own wedding, we knew that we had to have PRS. We were not disappointed. Chris and the rest of the band were so easy to work with. They helped us come up with a great playlist that featured a good mix of contemporary hits along with classics (which our older and younger crowds both really appreciated). Over the year (plus) that we planned they were consistently adding to their repertoire. The level of musicianship and professionalism that PRS demonstrated throughout the evening was so impressive to all of us. The dance floor was full all night long—and as a result, PRS made a game-time decision to not take a break because we were all having a blast together. Countless guests commented on how talented, fun and energetic the band was. They couldn’t believe there was a full horn section. If we were doing it all over again, Philly Rock&Soul would be an absolute no-brainer!

On a scale from 1-10, these guys get well over a 10! Back in August, we had our first annual car show. After using gigmaster, a local entertainment company and a few other generic sites to look for live music, nothing was catching my ear and they all seemed to be missing something. It was by pure Irish luck that I stumbled across Philly Rock&Soul . The playlist on the website was everything that we were looking for and after watching a few of their videos on the website- I knew that these guys were it! I sent out an e-mail and heard back within 24 hours with both an e-mail and a personal phone call, which I couldn’t say about many of the other bands I reached out to. Even leading up to the event, they were very hands on, very easy to get a hold of and such a breath of fresh air to have people who are available at the drop of a hat. Because of the weather that they were calling for on the day of the event, we had to exercise the rain date- this was not a problem at all for these guys! Again, easy to get a hold of and still so excited to be a part of the event. The day of the Car Show, everyone showed up in such great spirits, with smiles on their faces and played their hearts out and everyone absolutely LOVED them. They were very interactive with the crowed and had everyone up on their feet dancing. After using Philly Rock & Soul, I would not recommend anyone else for your next event! Easy to get along with, great positive attitude, entertaining and a great time for everyone in the family!

This past June my husband hosted an incredible party for my 50th birthday, and Philly Rock&Soul helped to make it a fabulous evening! They had all of our guests on the dance floor the entire evening....I even jumped in to "sing" with them on one of my favorite songs!!!
